Black Christmas - Don't Let Children Watch Movies Like This

Unfortunately there are a few Christmas movies out there that put off any holiday natural feelings. One of them is "Black Christmas" a horrifying movie that is meant only for those with a hard stomach and a high endurance level. I don?t see who could enjoy watching a movie like this, especially on Christmas day, but I can tell you that this particular movie is not fit for your children?s eyes. The gore and terror described by "Black Christmas" back in 1974 when it was first screened somehow got a grip over a rather odd group of fans worldwide and producers remade it last year, adding modern scenes and effects. The all new version is even worse.

Released precisely on Christmas day, ?Black Christmas?s remake spread a worldwide wave of critics and disgust in the hearts of all religious persons. Christian church officials commented upon the event, defining it as a tactless attempt to tear out the Christmas spirit out of God-loving believers' hearts.

Its release is not only unfair for children, but it can also get quite harmful for their little souls. Even if "Black Christmas" is R rated, and children are not allowed to watch it, the commercials that are transmitted worldwide over television and radio can be easily heard or seen by your own kid. "Black Christmas" can do a lot of damage to a young child. If they see over and over again the evil images that define ?Black Christmas?, they might eventually connect Christmas to an evil celebration, which is in reality meant to bring out the hostility in the world.

Should aggressive Movies similar to "Black Christmas" be forbidden throughout Christmas?

We live in a free world and we can?t tell others what they can and cannot do, therefore we can?t forbid the whole world to watch "Black Christmas". It's virtually impossible to ban the film from getting transmitted over Christmas period because there are certain types of individuals that might actually get a kick out of watching it. That means patents allover the world have to be extra careful and show exceptional vigilance when it comes to what their kids are allowed and can watch during Christmas. It is very important not to let children see or read about "Black Christmas" too many times, especially during Christmas season.

Simply supervise your child when he or she accessed the internet and try to keep kids busy during Christmas. Even if they are teenagers, give them Christmas tasks they might enjoy and in their spare time try to enroll them to a school activity where they can be with friend and colleagues and are properly supervised. They will be happy to spent more time with others, and will have almost no time at all to kill over the internet or watching violent scenes from movies like ?Black Christmas?
