Selecting Christmas Songs for your Christmas Musical

In some communities, there is a habit of organizing a Christmas special musical on each Christmas. It's a way people get a chance to gather tighter and socialize, while doing something fun and rewarding. But choosing the Christmas songs that would go best with your musical can be quite challenging. Firstly, the entire responsibility falls on your head and you might feel overwhelmed when thinking of ways to do it in order to please all others. Choose your Christmas songs considering three aspects: text, melody and pace. The text is very important, you have to choose a song that helps telling the story in your musical, not a Christmas song that concerns a whole other matter. The melody and the pace are in fact very important also. If the melody is alert, then your musical action will have to be quite fast. If on the other hand you choose a song like Silent Night, you would be using it in a peaceful, enjoyable scene like a scene of the Christmas dinner.
